Method
Jason Lake founds Complexity in 2003 and funds it himself, more than $400,000 by 2007. Jerry Jones and John Goff buy it in November 2017 and move it to The Star in Frisco with a GameStop sponsored training center in 2019. GameSquare acquires it in 2021 and sells it back to a Lake led group on March 1, 2024 for $10.36 million, mostly seller financed. It leaves Counter Strike 2 in August 2025 for financial reasons.
