Red Bull is the most consistent sponsor of streamers and esports. It signs Ninja in June 2018 with a Fortnite all nighter tournament in Chicago and issues a Ninja can in April 2019. Its June 2018 Cloud9 deal makes Red Bull the shirt sponsor of all 14 Cloud9 teams, but it is a return rather than a first: Red Bull had sponsored Cloud9 and Team SoloMid before ending team deals in 2017 while it ran its own Team RB. Ludwig lists himself as a Red Bull athlete in May 2024 and Red Bull carries his athlete page. The company is headquartered in Austria with US operations in Santa Monica.
