Method

CAA is founded in 1975 by five agents who leave William Morris, moves to Century City in 2007 and is majority owned by Groupe Artemis after a 7 billion dollar deal that closes in September 2023, replacing TPG's 53 percent stake. It represents Logan Paul until he leaves for WME in July 2021, absorbs ICM Partners for 750 million dollars in June 2022, and in 2025 hires digital media veteran Greg Goodfried to build out its creators division. In June 2026 CAA and TPG form Compound Creative Holdings with 250 million dollars to invest in, operate or acquire businesses founded by online creators, which turns the agency from a commission taker into an owner of creator businesses.
