Zoe Sugg starts the Zoella blog in February 2009 while an interior design apprentice in England and adds YouTube the same year, managed by Dominic Smales at Gleam Futures and networked through StyleHaul. Zoella Beauty launches in September 2014, made by SLG in Gloucestershire and sold at Superdrug and Feelunique, with a US debut at Tilly's and Aerie in 2016; Girl Online sells 78,109 copies in its first week that November, a debut record. Zoella Lifestyle homeware follows in September 2016. Her company ZS Beauty Ltd, incorporated July 13, 2016 with her as sole director, files last accounts to March 2021 and is dissolved on March 1, 2022. She lives in Brighton and has been on an extended social media break since January 2026.
