Method
Summer in the City starts in 2009 as a free gathering of British YouTubers in a London park and grows into a ticketed convention at Alexandra Palace and then ExCeL London, drawing British creators including Zoella in its 2013 and 2014 editions. It pauses in 2020 and no full scale edition has been confirmed since; by 2026 its web address redirects to the Megacon Live pop culture shows, which list no Summer in the City date. Its founders and venue history could not be confirmed against a fetched source.
Open questions: No source above encyclopedia grade was retrieved; sitc-event.co.uk now redirects to megaconlive.com, which lists no Summer in the City edition for 2025 or 2026.
