Underscore Talent launches in January 2021 in Los Angeles when Studio71 co founders Michael Green, Reza Izad and Dan Weinstein reunite, joined by partners Austin Mayster, Linnea Toney and Megan Brown. It sells a 360 degree management service paid by commission on brand partnerships, e commerce, publishing and production, and reports millions of dollars of deals with Clinique and Verizon within months of launch. The founding roster includes the LaBrant Family, the Royalty Family, Alex Wassabi and Kati Morton, while the founders' earlier Studio71 clients include Rhett and Link, Lilly Singh and Smosh. By 2026 it runs comedy, adult animation and theatrical divisions, hiring Lital Spitzer in April 2026 to formalize the theatrical arm.
