SoftBank's Vision Funds make two of the largest creator economy growth bets. Vision Fund participates in Cameo's 100 million dollar round in March 2021 at a 1 billion dollar valuation, then marks the stake down to 100 million dollars in 2022 as Cameo lays off most of its staff. Vision Fund 2 leads Spotter's 2022 round at a reported 1.7 billion dollar valuation, before Spotter's 2025 layoffs. Both bets are priced at the pandemic peak.
