Method
Creator Camp is founded in 2021 by Chris Duncun, Max Reisinger and Simon Kim as a series of Base Camp retreats for creators, and in 2025 it plants itself in Austin: CAMP Film + Fest runs April 26 and 27, 2025 at the Paramount Theatre with workshops at the former La Zona Rosa, co hosted by Patreon, screening creator made films from Baron Ryan and Kane Pixels with Yes Theory's founders and Roger Avary on stage. After the festival the team, led creatively by Cristina Colina, rents an Austin studio, which they describe as emptying their bank account, and funds ten creators to make short films through the Patreon partnership, positioning itself as an internet born film studio for creator projects. Revenue and headcount are not disclosed.
