Celsius Holdings is the Nasdaq listed energy drink company headquartered in Boca Raton, founded in 2004 and repositioned as a fitness lifestyle drink in 2012. PepsiCo buys an 8.5 percent stake for 550 million dollars in August 2022 and takes over distribution, which puts Celsius in roughly 95 percent of US stores. The company pays creators rather than owning them: Jake Paul signs an endorsement deal in February 2023 covering fight gear, his YouTube show and his podcast, and David Dobrik hosts a Celsius pickleball tournament the same year. On February 20, 2025 Celsius agrees to buy Alani Nu, the Louisville energy brand co founded by fitness creator Katy Hearn, for 1.8 billion dollars, closing April 1, 2025 with Alani Nu operated from within Celsius; it adds Rockstar Energy from PepsiCo in August 2025. Second quarter 2026 revenue is 817.9 million dollars, of which Alani Nu contributes about 364.4 million, and the portfolio holds about 20 percent of the US ready to drink energy category. It is the corridor's clearest case of a creator founded beverage being priced and absorbed by a public South Florida operator.
