David Dobrik starts on Vine in 2013, passes a million followers and moves to YouTube in 2015, building the Vlog Squad ensemble around four minute vlogs. SeatGeek is the recurring sponsor that funds the car giveaways. Dispo launches as David's Disposable in December 2019, hits number one on the App Store, and raises a $20 million Series A from Spark Capital in February 2021 at a $200 million valuation. In March 2021 Business Insider reports a 2018 rape allegation against Vlog Squad member Dom Zeglaitis; Spark severs ties on March 21, Dobrik leaves the Dispo board, YouTube demonetizes him and sponsors exit. He returns in July 2021 and opens Doughbrik's Pizza in Los Angeles in November 2022.
