Larry Fitzgibbon, Joe Perez and Steven Kydd, all from Demand Media, found Tastemade in Santa Monica in June 2012 as a network of food creators and later a studio with its own streaming and FAST channels, paid by sponsors such as Walmart and Kellogg's. It raises about 115 million dollars from Redpoint, Scripps, Goldman Sachs and Amazon. On March 12, 2025 Wonder, Marc Lore's food delivery company that owns Grubhub, buys it for about 90 million dollars to feed shoppable cooking video into its app.
