Tubefilter's Drew Baldwin, Brady Brim-DeForest, Marc Hustvedt, Joshua Cohen and Jamison Tilsner hold the first Streamys on March 28, 2009 at the Wadsworth Theatre in Los Angeles. After a poorly received 2010 show Tubefilter brings in Dick Clark Productions, now owned by Penske Media, to rebuild the ceremony, which later runs at the Beverly Hilton and Hollywood Palladium. MrBeast wins Creator of the Year in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The thirteenth annual show in 2023 is the last listed on streamys.org, no ceremony is held in 2024 or 2025 and no 2026 date is announced as of September 2026.
