Mike Rufail announces the Envy Gaming Performance Lab at Fairview Town Center on October 23, 2025, nine months after buying the Envy, Dallas Fuel and Dallas Empire brands back from OpTic. D Magazine describes it as a 3,200 square foot lab that targets rental income from international teams, schools and competitive clubs rather than a franchise fee model, with Rufail saying he expects Envy to be profitable in 2026. Envy president Geoff Moore frames it as mental performance coaching and data driven training for Call of Duty, Overwatch and Valorant players. It is the scaled down successor to the 20,872 square foot Victory Park facility of 2019 and the first purpose built esports lab in North Texas after the league era ends.
