Patrick Bet-David starts the Valuetainment YouTube channel on November 9, 2012 while running PHP Agency, the life insurance marketing company he founds in 2009, and grows the channel to over 6 million subscribers with the PBD Podcast from 2020. He sells PHP to Integrity Marketing Group in July 2022 for a reported 250 million dollars plus earn outs, having already moved his companies to South Florida, where he buys two Fort Lauderdale area buildings for 8.6 million dollars in December 2021 to house a podcast studio and production space. In 2026 he is subpoenaed over a show sponsor, Goliath Ventures, accused of a 500 million dollar Ponzi scheme that also title sponsored his Vault conference. The channel is the front of a holding company rather than the business itself.
