Ludwig Ahgren, Nick Allen, Nathan Stanz and Brandon Ewing found Offbrand in September 2022 as a studio that makes game shows and events for creators, starting with Juiced hosted by xQc on Twitch on September 30, 2022. It adds Offbrand Games, a publishing arm, in 2024 and its first title Rivals of Aether 2 tops the Steam sales chart in October 2024. On December 18, 2024 Offbrand closes its events production branch, citing the effort each event demands, thin creator demand and a reported 3 million dollar accounting hole, and pays two months of severance. The games publishing business continues as the company's focus.
