NTWRK, the Los Angeles livestream shopping app founded by Aaron Levant in 2018, buys Complex from BuzzFeed in February 2024 for 108.6 million dollars and merges the two under the Complex name, bringing back Noah Callahan-Bever as chief content officer. Complex had been bought by a Verizon and Hearst joint venture in April 2016 and by BuzzFeed in June 2021. NTWRK keeps ComplexCon, which moves to Las Vegas and adds a Hong Kong edition in 2024.
