Michael Gruen, an NBA agent at 15, co founds TalentX Entertainment in late January 2020 with Warren Lentz, Jason Wilhelm, Tal Fishman and Josh Richards and serves as its vice president of talent. TalentX creates the Sway House in Los Angeles in January 2020, housing Josh Richards, Bryce Hall, Griffin Johnson and others, allies with ICM Partners in March 2020 and pacts with ReKTGlobal in May 2020. The collective disbands in February 2021 and ReKTGlobal acquires TalentX on March 9, 2021 for undisclosed terms, taking Gruen and about 17 staff into its ReKTX division. In February 2021 Gruen and Richards launch the Gen Z studio CrossCheck with Mark Wahlberg, and ICM agent Chris Sawtelle joins it as co president in September 2021.
