Informa, the London listed events company with 3.19 billion dollars of 2023 revenue, buys VidCon from Paramount Global in August 2024 through its Fan Expo HQ division, which also runs Toronto Comic Con and the Game Developers Conference. No price is disclosed. It keeps VidCon at the Anaheim Convention Center for the June 2025 edition, with YouTube as title sponsor for its 20th anniversary, and the June 25 to 27, 2026 edition, and says it wants to take the event international without giving concrete plans.
