Blue Ant Media, Michael MacMillan's Toronto television and digital group, takes a minority stake in Los Angeles YouTube network Omnia Media on April 1, 2014, becoming exclusive sales representative for its 550 million monthly views, later takes control, and on February 20, 2018 renames Omnia's production arm Blue Ant Digital Studios while the Omnia network and its Arcade Cloud gaming channel keep their names. The date Blue Ant moved from minority to control is not confirmed in a primary source.

Open questions: The 2018 Blue Ant release renames only Omnia's production arm, not the whole network, and no primary source was found for when Blue Ant moved from minority to controlling ownership.
