Method

Sarah Penna and Steve Raymond found Big Frame in Los Angeles in 2011 as a boutique network and management firm for YouTube creators, paid through ad share and brand campaigns, and build it to more than 300 channels with 39 million subscribers including Tyler Oakley, MysteryGuitarMan and Jimmy Tatro. AwesomenessTV, then owned by DreamWorks Animation, announces on April 2, 2014 that it will buy Big Frame for 15 million dollars in cash plus assumed debt, with the founders staying on. The roster folds into the AwesomenessTV network and the Big Frame name disappears within DreamWorks.
