The Anaheim Convention Center opens in 1967 across from Disneyland and, per Visit Anaheim, now covers 1.8 million square feet on 53 acres with more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space, 352,000 square feet of meeting space and a 7,500 seat arena, the largest exhibit facility on the West Coast. It hosts VidCon every year from 2012 apart from the two pandemic cancellations, with the fifteenth flagship edition set for June 25 to 27, 2026 under Informa's ownership. In June 2018 the Anaheim Marriott Suites across the resort district is the site of TanaCon's collapse.
Open questions: Visit Anaheim states over 1 million square feet of exhibit space and the center's own site 1.6 million, against the prior note's 813,000; the 2015 to 2017 expansion dates are not in a retrieved source.
